Concerts in Guwahati: On the 10th and 11th

Don’t miss these concerts in Guwahati. Of course if you’re not going to be there, please invite your friends and family who are around Guwahati for these secular concerts.
Marianne D’Cruz Aiman will be the main singer for a concert in English on the 10th with many well known secular English songs. Virendra Patil will be singing in Hindi & English on the 11th. Marianne is a diploma holder in Voice from Trinity College and Royal Schools of London. She has been teaching for over 10 years and was a faculty member at Whistling Woods International Institute of Acting. She has worked extensively As a sessions Vocalist with Salim Merchant , Vishal Kasbekar, Amit Trivedi and other Bollywood music directors in film scores of Chak De India, Kurbaan, Kites, Black and is working now on her on CCM album.
About Virendra Patil:
A renowned Christian singer, Virendra has released 5 Hindi albums and more recently a Live Concert DVD. His first album and its title song, ‘Prabhu Tera Pyaar’ has won wide acclaim in the Christian community. Voice and Vocal Workshops in Guwahati

The church is arranging a vocal workshop and a music workshop by famed newfrontiers singers Virendra Patil and Marianne D’cruz Aiman.
On the 8th and 9th of September in Guwahati, the two artists will gather for a 3 hour workshop from 5.30pm to 8pm at Samanway Path, H/No 9, Christian Basti, Guwahati, 781005
We encourage everyone in Guwahati who has an interest for vocals and worship to join these workshops. Alternatively if you have friends in Guwahati please do recommend these to them.

Momentum : Church Planter’s Conference

Indeed it was a momentous time… a time of meeting the king of kings, a time of reviewing, understanding India, its geographical locations, the population, the need for church plantings, worshipping and hearing the heart of the Lord through prophetic utterances, fellowship, etc. all under one roof. It was a power packed 3 solid days conference for the 120 people who were present.

Our time began with Guy Miller envisioning us about the conference, speaking from Rev. of the full purpose and plan for us – to be a worshipper who will see Jesus as He is, more than a conqueror and hence for us to be warring Christians full of the Holy Spirit. More >
Newfrontiers Annual Cricket Tournament

It was 26th Jan & our cricketers from New Frontier churches in Mumbai and Nasik, gathered together for the battle for the cup at Holy Family School Grounds. There was enthusiasm and joy and confidence in everyone to win the trophy. Lots of fellowship and fun, friendship, eating together and cheering one-another was happening there. The stadium was full of spectators and cheerers, with music & drums, placards & signs. Last year’s winners Masiha church lost the match in the first round itself. We TLC, played better cricket this year and won the first match against Living Word church. We however lost the second round after a putting up a good fight against Jeevit Vishwas Kalisiya, who won the trophy after consistently winning 4 matches. Let’s applaud these great winners.
