Revamped in-week meetings to CONNECT

2009 has been a lovely year, God has spoken to us time and again and encouraged us through the wonderful prophecies bought upon us as a church.
One thing that we felt clearly as we were stepping into 2010 is the need to focus more on Abiding in him, Mission and Evangelism. We feel the very essence of all that we do should be focused on mission and evangelism.
Keeping this in mind we felt a need to revamp our Cell Groups and make it a more missional and interactive platform, at the same time not lose out on the essence of Cell groups – Relationships. Thus we have come up with a revamped format for the cell groups, we wont even be calling it cell groups anymore. More >
Abiding with Christ and being fruitful

Was your year good? How did you evaluate it? You need to learn a secret that Jesus shared with his disciples. He asked them to ‘remain’ in him. He said that there would be much fruit and blessing for those who remained with him. All he was asking us to do was to abide in his love. If you look back at your year, would you be able to say that you abided in Christ? Or maybe then you were busy with many things.
Many of us are very busy with Life. The common complaint is that we have no time for people, family, personal growth and sadly often we have not time for God. We are called by god to bear fruit in abundance. So how then with our busy schedules should we do that? There are five ways.

At one such meeting it was unanimously decided, looking back on the events and prophecies of 2009, that 2010 should be a year of ’mission’, ’evangelism’. And to accomplish that, Franco preached a prophetic message for this year about ‘abiding’ in Christ.
So this new year, as we are looking to have more fruit, increasing numbers and many added members, we have aligned many of our meetings on Sundays, cell groups etc to fit in with the goal for this year. This blog will have more on the new ideas that we will use this year. Coming up soon is the article on ‘Abiding with Christ for fruits’. Will be put up in two days. God bless you!

New Year’s Eve: Prophecies for the year 2010

It was great to see our God who speaks and encourages us, and as we met on New Year’s Eve he spoke these words for us, to encourage us, build us and see us blessed in this year. What a faithful God we serve, hallelujah! Let’s take hold of them and see them fulfilled in our lives. Some of the prophecies are concisely given below. We hope that you will be envisioned by them!
Old row of buildings are demolished & God is raising up new places. God’s Spirit is poured out mightily & you will go out without fear & take over these places. These are my appointed places & I have anointed you to take them. You are like that eagle which was hurt in one leg & could not fly but this year God is healing you & you will fly great heights.
The Lord is moving around & putting his hands on shoulder of certain people & saying them, ‘do not fear, I am with you, trust me, just trust me’.2010 is year in which God is going to work in most of our lives, in mysterious ways for his miracles to perform. He is going to reshuffle TLC. He is going to take many of us to great & new heights. God wants us to declare positive affirmation over our own life and into the life of one another. He wants to change the image of our life, inside before he can change the outside.
It will be a year of vindication. In whatever area you are going through, God will vindicate you. God is saying, Do not be narrow minded. God has abundance to give. Ask for Big things and we will receive it. He is going to give us a lot this year. Have faith for big things. I am the Lord God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me. God wants to give a new start in someone’s career, new start in marriage, new start in interpersonal relationship, new start in lifestyle. Do not hold back fearing failure, move on. God wants to give us fully, but come into His presence and serve. God is saying we need to concentrate on sharing the gospel and see people saved, just as John 3:16, that only through Jesus a man (sinner) can reach God.
