  • A Christmas Invitation

    0

This year, the church is sending out invitations for our Christmas eve service in a not-so-usual way. Come next week we will have a video DVD ready with 5 famous songs including three carols as sung by our choir.

With a view of tapping the worship talents of the church and also doing something innovative, not to mention in keeping with the times, the team at TLC decided to record a choir recital and have that as an invitation with a short message.

Franco who spearheaded the initiative along with Marianne D’cruz  Aiman and Errol marks are optimistic about the results. “The choir has been working hard on this for the last few weeks and they were brilliant in the recording on Sunday. I’m sure the DVD will come out excellent”. Marianne, who has done innumerable songs for Bollywood including movies like Lagaan and Black was our choir conductor and Errol Marks and his ‘Curly Haired Rascals’ were in charge of recording with Rohan Aiman on Sound.

To really take this ahead we are looking to sure this video on local cable networks. We are praying that we’d have a good operator who can do this for is with maximum reach.

In terms of church we’re seeing a new generation of people coming out too serve their Lord with talents both public and behind the scenes. Do keep is in prayer. Wish you a blessed week!

It was the most exciting and enthusiastic, “Together On Mission” conference that we attended thus far. From the first hour of the 3 days, God’s presence was amazingly there in Worship, Seminars and during the words that were preached and the praying together that happened. This conference was marked with flow of prophetic words encouraging us to go forth for God’s Mission, It simply was amazing.

Preaching through the book of Acts has been a huge benefit to many of us. Acts clearly speaks to us about apostolic ministry & the importance of being open to apostolic insight.  Nigel Dutton, Samir & Vinu  were involved with us in the past, but now we have Malcolm Kayes  who is more experienced and has been coming to India for the last 20 yrs.  He will oversee TLC along with Vinu and David. Let us look to God as we involve these men in an accountable relationship to help us in seeing our vision fulfilled and to see the church plantings initiated successfully.

Walking into big steps of faith , covering Hebrews, moving with the prophetic utterances, dreams, bringing forth to the table the know it how moving ahead in terms of steps and money spent,  the visions imparted, childrens work, assessing in god the moves, steps which small yet seemingly yet faith for the achievable.  Amidst electrifying praise and worship, fellowship within the brethren of the body of Christ far and near – all summed up in a nut shell that was how toam 2010 was.

Words of encouragement to each and every church, made to feel belonged fellowship, preaching from the pulpit by guy miller and his team not only convincing into righteousness but surely looking forward to history changing in indias church planting – 100 churches looks so near!!.

Toam comes every year, but this years toam has left an impact which will last in the hearts – towards kuch karke dikhana hain, bade kadam vishwas ke prabhu main.
